Job Description

This position is for Field Management Interns at Elmington Construction.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for effective liaison with team members and leadership.
Outstanding organizational skills to efficiently manage multiple priorities, tasks, and deadlines.

Essential Job Functions:
The intern will be involved in a variety of critical construction management tasks, including:
• Assisting in the preparation of budgets.
Coordination and supervision of subcontractors.
Review of project documents and shop drawings.
• Managing correspondence with architects and engineers.
• Conducting quality control inspections.
• Performing progress tracking, documentation, and various administrative duties.
• Undertaking other duties as assigned.

Specific Education or Experience:
• Applicants must be a student pursuing a degree in construction, engineering, or a related field.

Internship Focus:
As a Field Management Intern, the primary objective is to gain hands-on, real-world experience in areas such as:
• Managing field coordination.
Jobsite management.
• Managing the project schedule.
