General Statement of Duties

The primary purpose of this position is to develop principles of fair play, a sense of confidence, and self-discipline in student-athletes through the development and extension of various hockey-related skills, as provided by interscholastic competition.

Essential Duties

  • Assist the head coach in the organization of the overall hockey program.
  • Assist in the supervision of student-athletes during daily practices and at games.
  • Prepare players both physically and mentally for interscholastic competition through practice, teaching of fundamental skills, and knowledge of rules.
  • Assist in the cleaning, storage, and proper care of all team equipment.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Prior experience in field hockey is required.
  • Prior coaching experience is preferred.

Compensation & Employment Details

  • Minimum Salary: $2,642.63/year
  • Employment Status: Hourly/Temporary
  • Currency: USD
  • Work At Home: Not Applicable
  • Amount of Travel: Not Specified (expected for games/practices)
