Job Type: Full-time, Part-time, Internship

Responsibilities:
• Tracking and researching federal legislation and regulations, including budget proposals and annual appropriations, that impact the firm’s clients. This involves utilizing online databases and news sources, and attending meetings and briefings on Capitol Hill and with Executive agency staff.
• Supporting federal grant writing and legislative/policy objectives for the firm’s clients. This includes researching and identifying federal grant opportunities, reading and synthesizing detailed federal grant documents and procurement regulations, and providing support to the client services team.
• Conducting long-term research projects across various issue areas such as health care, higher education, economic development, and workforce development.
• Compiling reports and client briefing/background materials.
• Performing administrative tasks (e.g., scheduling, internal coordination) and planning and coordinating logistics.
• Providing support to the business development team as needed.

Requirements:
• Must be currently enrolled in or have recently completed an accredited graduate degree program. Relevant graduate or professional programs, such as public policy or law, are preferred.
• Possess strong research skills, keen attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple assignments while meeting deadlines.
• Prior experience in a relevant field is required.
• Demonstrate impeccable written and oral communication skills.
• Available to work a minimum of 20 hours per week.
