About Company:

The company is the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA). FCA focuses on ministry and developing student athletes’ understanding of their calling and career through various ministry experiences.

Job Description:

This is an internship experience designed for student athletes. The goal is to help them discover their calling and career path while introducing them to various aspects of ministry through FCA.

Key Aspects of the Internship:

Volunteer Role: Interns are collegiate volunteers and are not employees.
Unpaid: Interns do not receive hourly wages or compensation for their work.
Stipend: A nominal stipend may be provided to cover living expenses during the internship.
Developmental Focus: The internship is a learning and developmental ministry experience.
Ministry Understanding: The primary goal is to develop the intern’s understanding of their individual calling to ministry through training and experience.

Ministerial Duties (Core Responsibilities):

The internship involves critical ministerial duties that align with FCA’s mission. These duties are expected to be carried out with a heart surrendered to serving God. Interns are expected to:

Christian Community Statement: Agree with and abide by FCA’s Christian Community Statement.
Spiritual Rhythm: Follow a spiritual rhythm including daily prayer and Bible study.
Spiritual Leadership: Lead, conduct, and provide spiritual leadership for staff, volunteers, coaches, and athletes through prayer, Bible study, worship, and living by example.
Church Involvement: Connect to and participate in a local church.
Biblical Conduct: Conduct yourself in a manner that affirms biblical standards of conduct in accordance with FCA’s Christian beliefs.
