This is an internship experience designed for student-athletes to help them:
• Discover their calling and career path.
• Introduce them to various aspects of ministry through FCA.

• No Hourly Compensation: Interns do not receive hourly pay or compensation for their work.
• Stipend: A nominal stipend may be provided for living-related expenses during the internship.
• Focus on Development: The internship’s primary goal is to develop the intern’s understanding of their individual calling to ministry through training and experience.
• Varying Experiences: FCA internship experiences vary by location. Detailed information is available from the FCA staff associated with each specific internship.
Ministerial Duties:
These responsibilities are critical to the FCA mission, emphasizing service to God as worship. Interns are expected to:
• Christian Community Statement: Agree with and abide by FCA’s Christian Community Statement.
• Spiritual Rhythm: Follow a spiritual rhythm that includes daily prayer and Bible study.
• Spiritual Leadership: Lead, conduct, and provide spiritual leadership for staff, volunteers, coaches, and athletes through prayer, Bible study, worship, and living by example.
• Church Involvement: Connect to and participate in a local church through worship and weekly involvement.
• Biblical Standards: Conduct themselves in a manner that affirms biblical standards of conduct in accordance with FCA’s Christian beliefs at all times.
