Job Description:
This is a volunteer internship opportunity designed to develop student-athletes in discerning their calling and career, while introducing them to various aspects of ministry through FCA. Interns are not employees and do not receive compensation by the hour or for production of their work. They may receive a nominal stipend for living related expenses during the course of the internship.

• Focus on Development: The primary goal is to develop the intern’s understanding of their individual calling to ministry through related training and experience.
• Varied Experiences: Internship experiences vary from location to location, providing diverse opportunities for learning and growth.
• Learning Opportunity: The internship provides learning and developmental ministry experience.
• No compensation: Interns serving through FCA are not employees and do not receive compensation by the hour or for production of their work.
• Stipend: Interns may receive a nominal stipend for living related expenses during the course of the internship.
Ministerial Duties:
The role emphasizes a commitment to FCA’s Christian mission. Interns are expected to:
• Adhere to FCA’s Christian Community Statement: This includes agreeing with and abiding by the organization’s Christian beliefs and standards of conduct.
• Maintain Spiritual Disciplines: Follow a spiritual rhythm including daily prayer and Bible study to seek the Lord’s will for FCA.
• Provide Spiritual Leadership: Lead, conduct and provide spiritual leadership for staff, volunteers, coaches and athletes through prayer, Bible study, worship and living by example so they are equipped to serve others.
• Engage in Local Church: Connect to and participate in a local church through worship and weekly involvement.
• Maintain Biblical Conduct: Conduct oneself in a manner that affirms biblical standards of conduct in accordance with FCA’s Christian beliefs.
