The Tone:
This is a full-time role for a legal firm, located in an office setting. The firm is a growing legal team seeking to expand its capacity to support clients navigating family law matters. This role is critical for providing comprehensive support to attorneys, ensuring efficient case management and empathetic client service throughout all phases of legal proceedings.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Prepare Documents: Prepare, review, and organize various legal documents, pleadings, correspondence, and comprehensive case files.
• Manage Cases: Assist with comprehensive case management, guiding matters efficiently from initial intake through final resolution.
• Facilitate Communication: Communicate effectively with clients, witnesses, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
• Conduct Research: Conduct thorough legal research, investigations, and fact gathering to support ongoing cases.
• Schedule Proceedings: Schedule and coordinate appointments, hearings, mediations, and depositions for attorneys.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Minimum qualification is an Associate degree, with strong knowledge of family law procedures, court filings, legal terminology, and litigation processes.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of dedicated Family Law paralegal experience is required.
• Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication, strong organizational and time management abilities, problem-solving capabilities, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Bonus: Paralegal certification and Notary Public certification are preferred qualifications.
