Job Description: Fall2025 – HRIS & Benefits Intern

This internship position is designed to support the HRIS/Benefits Team for HUGO BOSS North America. The role involves a variety of administrative and project-based tasks primarily focused on Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) and employee benefits.

Key Responsibilities Include:

HRIS
SAP Administration: Perform general maintenance, including data entry, weekly reporting, and data auditing within SAP.
Store Manager Liaison: Communicate with Store Managers regarding HRIS-related cases, such as new hire paperwork completion, record discrepancies, and I-9 verification.
Data Management: Assist with personal data changes on both SAP and Benefit Provider websites, and support data audits to ensure data integrity across systems.
System Troubleshooting: Learn and assist in troubleshooting data transfer issues between SAP and other systems like Kronos and ADP.
Administrative Support: Execute general administrative functions related to HRIS and Benefits.
Special Projects: Provide assistance on SAP/Benefits related special projects, including compliance mailings and plan audits.

Benefits & Other Responsibilities
Benefit Enrollment Processing: Maintain and process benefit enrollments and changes within the Benefits Online Platform.
Event Coordination: Offer support in coordinating various benefits-related events.
Presentation & Research: Conduct research and deliver a presentation on a chosen HR subject to the HRIS/Benefits Team at the end of the internship.
Ad-hoc Projects: Undertake special HR projects and assignments as requested by the local HR team.
Confidentiality: Handle confidential information with the utmost integrity.

Internship Requirements & Details:
Work Schedule: Must be able to work on-location, 20-24 hours per week.
Term: The internship runs for the full Fall term, from September 8, 2025, to December 12, 2025.
Compensation: The pay rate is fixed at $16.50 per hour.
Eligibility: Applicants must be a rising Junior or Senior at a local college/university, pursuing a bachelor’s degree.
Relocation: This position is not eligible for relocation.

Candidate Profile:
Motivation: Highly motivated with a strong interest in Human Resources.
Interpersonal Skills: Ability to work collaboratively, maintain a professional demeanor, and possess strong relationship-building and customer service skills.
Initiative: Proactive, self-starter with strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Organizational Skills: Excellent time management and organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize work effectively, strong follow-up skills, and keen attention to detail.
Adaptability: Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while maintaining strong attention to detail.
Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft PowerPoint.
Preferred Experience: SAP HR experience is considered a plus.
