Job Title: FALL INTERNSHIP 2025: Fashion Design and Production
Job Type: This is an Unpaid Internship with academic credit offered.
Role Overview:
The brand is seeking dedicated Design and Production Interns to join its team. This internship provides hands-on experience for Fashion Design students in a New York City Atelier. It offers a unique chance for individuals eager to gain valuable experience.
Schedule:
The position is scheduled for immediate hire. It is available for both full-time and part-time roles, requiring 2-5 days per week commitment. Interns must commit to at least 2 days a week, with a minimum required internship hours weekly of 20.
Responsibilities:
• Source fabrics and trims.
• Assist with pattern making.
• Assist with fabric cutting.
• Making embroidery layouts.
• Help issue fabrics, embroideries, prints, and style tech packs to mills and factories.
• Support the design team pre and post NYFW.
• Manage pickups and drop-offs.
Requirements:
• Background in fashion design, technical design, production.
• PATTERN MAKING KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS are essential.
• GARMENT CONSTRUCTION KNOWLEDGE is required.
• Must possess a positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
• Ability to commit to at least 2 days a week.
• Previous experience working at a fashion brand is required.
• Knowledge of fabrics.
• Demonstrates efficiency, organization, and strong communication skills.
