NEON Internship Program:

The NEON Internship Program offers a unique and valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in film distribution. It’s a collaborative experience where interns work alongside industry veterans, receive mentorship, and learn from their expertise. The program is tailored to individual interests and skills, allowing interns to gain practical experience in areas like:

Marketing and Publicity: Develop strategies to promote films, manage press outreach, and create engaging content.
Acquisitions: Learn about the process of acquiring film rights and identifying promising projects.
Theatrical Sales and Distribution: Understand how films are released in theaters and navigate the intricacies of theatrical distribution.

Paid Internship: A competitive hourly rate of $16.90 is offered for a minimum of 12 weeks.

Requirements:

To be eligible, candidates must be enrolled in an accredited college/university and taking at least one class during the semester/quarter prior to the internship.

• Excellent computer skills (Google Docs, Excel)
• Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset
• Culturally literate and familiar with social media platforms
• Knowledge of current film trends and industry news
• Problem-solving skills and ability to implement solutions
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and writing skills
• Prior internship or working experience in communications or public relations is encouraged.
