## NEON Internship Program:

The NEON Internship Program is a unique opportunity to dive deep into the world of film distribution. Interns gain hands-on experience in various aspects of film distribution, including:

Marketing and Publicity: Learn the strategies behind promoting films, engaging audiences, and generating buzz.
Acquisitions: Understand the process of acquiring new films and building a diverse catalog.
Theatrical Sales and Distribution: Discover how films are brought to theaters and navigate the complex world of distribution.

Compensation:

• Paid internship with a minimum duration of 12 weeks.
• 2-3 full days per week, working approximately 16-24 hours per week.
• Flexible scheduling to fit school calendars.
• Competitive hourly rate of $16.90 per hour.

Requirements:

• Must be enrolled in an accredited college/university, taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (Spring/Fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR currently be participating in a NEON Internship.

Desired Skills and Qualities:

• Enthusiasm and a positive attitude
• Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Google Docs and Excel
• Highly collaborative mindset with strong interpersonal skills
• Culturally literate, engaged with a knack for research, and familiarity with social media platforms and creators
• Knowledge of current film trends and industry news
• Ability to quickly learn new concepts, solve problems, and implement solutions
• Attention to detail with strong organizational skills
• Excellent communication and analytical writing skills
• Prior internship or working experience in communications or public relations is highly encouraged.
