• Job Title: Fall Global Marketing Intern
• Summary: The intern in this role will gain practical exposure and experience in Global Marketing activities within a global manufacturing company. This includes areas such as external communications, North America marketing, and global strategic marketing.
• Responsibilities: The responsibilities are flexible and tailored to provide diverse experiences that benefit both the intern and the organization, depending on the specific needs of the Global Marketing group at the time of hire. Examples of potential responsibilities include:
• Analyzing the global distribution of Allison products to understand market share in developing countries and identify optimal service channel locations for global customers.
• Creating Power BI dashboards for structuring and visualizing key market data.
• Maintaining a database of Allison product releases from global truck and bus manufacturers.
• Utilizing the Customer Value Creation Process to assess market size and trends for new global opportunities.
• Providing support for customer event logistics and trade shows.
• Developing and managing various marketing materials (e.g., website content, social media posts, video, and other digital marketing content) in collaboration with external agencies.
• Experience
• Education Requirement: Candidates must be college undergraduates or graduates with 1-3 years of study at an accredited college or university. The academic field of study should be related to Marketing, Sales, Business/Business Analytics, or Management.
• Required Experience/Skills:
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Good interpersonal skills to work effectively with others.
• Effective time management skills, particularly when handling multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to analyze both qualitative and quantitative data to solve complex problems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and knowledge of Power BI are preferred.
