The TL;DR

• Mission: This role ensures quality and progress in complex commercial building projects by coordinating and managing mechanical and electrical systems.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), iPad

What You’ll Actually Do
• Coordination: Coordinate workforce for Mechanical, Plumbing, Electrical, Fire Protection, and Building Controls trade subcontractors.
• Cost Management: Perform quantity surveying and cost estimating specifically for Mechanical and Electrical work.
• Submittal Review: Review Mechanical and Electrical equipment and product submittals to ensure content accuracy and compliance.
• Installation Evaluation: Assess the quality of Mechanical and Electrical Systems installations and monitor their progress against project schedules.
• System Management: Oversee the start-up and commissioning processes for Mechanical and Electrical Systems.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree, making this an early career opportunity. Candidates must be eligible to work in the U.S. without requiring employer immigration sponsorship now or in the future.
• Experience: No specific prior professional experience is required beyond active pursuit of a relevant bachelor’s degree.
• Skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Bonus: A bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology is strongly preferred.
