Job Description
Job Title: Fall 2025 – Visual Merchandising Intern
Role Overview:
The Visual Merchandising Intern will be a valuable member of the HUGO BOSS retail team. The intern will primarily collaborate closely with the corporate visual team on the rollout of dynamic seasonal brand campaigns. Additionally, the role involves supporting the field Visual Merchandising team as needed and executing essential daily operational tasks to ensure the smooth functioning of the department.
Internship Requirements (Fall 2025 Term):
• Work Location: Must be able to work on location.
• Work Hours: 20-24 hours per week.
• Internship Term: Full Fall term, from September 8, 2025, to December 12, 2025.
• Compensation: The pay rate is fixed at $16.50 per hour.
• Eligibility: Must be a rising Junior or Senior at a local college/university pursuing a bachelor’s degree.
• Relocation: This position is not eligible for relocation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Administrative Support: Organizing electronic files, creating Visual Merchandising directives, and managing spreadsheets.
• Field Collaboration: Assisting the Field Visual Merchandising team with seasonal floorsets and window installations in local stores. This includes tasks such as mannequin styling, steaming, and general merchandising.
• Operational Communication: Serving as a liaison with Field VM teams to help the VM Operations Manager effectively address and fulfill their operational needs.
• Inventory Management: Overseeing the inventory of in-office visual merchandising props, which involves stocktaking, organization, and distribution as required.
• Miscellaneous Tasks: Providing support to the team with various additional responsibilities to ensure a seamless workflow.
Candidate Profile:
• Experience/Passion: Prior internship or work experience in visual merchandising or a related field, or a demonstrated passion for the industry.
• Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Leadership/Activities (Preferred): Demonstrated academic leadership or involvement in extra-curricular activities is preferred.
• Academic Background (Plus): Studying visual merchandising is considered a plus.
