Job Description: Fall 2025 Operations Internship

This is an exciting opportunity for a creative, energized, and motivated individual to join CSL as an Operations Intern for Fall 2025. The intern will play a pivotal role in the day-to-day coordination of CSL’s league operations and facility management.

Reporting Structure:
The Operations Intern will work directly with the Operations Manager and COO.

Key Responsibilities:
Venue Management & Maintenance: Assist in the daily/weekly management and maintenance of all league venues to ensure they are fully functional and ready for league play.
Operational Support: Aid in the daily scheduling of leagues, manage email communications, and support various daily operational tasks.
Inventory Management: Oversee assigned venue inventory, coordinate with the manager on purchasing, and ensure all venues are adequately supplied.
Event Representation & Coordination: Represent CSL at multiple sporting events on a weekly basis. This includes:
• Setup and takedown for leagues.
• Directing referees and participants to correct locations.
• Refereeing games as needed.
• Interacting with participants and ensuring quality control.
Marketing Assistance: Provide support to the marketing team as required for social media and events, including but not limited to:
• Disseminating cancellation notices.
• Promoting new events.
• Taking league pictures.
• Assisting with general company marketing through social media.

Ideal Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate is a self-starter and trouble shooter, possessing experience and knowledge in areas of sport operations, facility management, and supporting day-to-day functions. They will frequently interact with the CSL community via email and in person at leagues and events held across various Chattanooga locations.

Required Qualifications:
Customer Service: Excellent customer service and relationship skills.
Communication: Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Autonomy & Time Management: Strong ability to self-direct, manage time effectively, and work independently.
Computer Proficiency: Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Problem Solving: Strong ability to problem-solve.
