Job Description
Arrowhead Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (Nasdaq: ARWR) is a clinical stage biopharmaceutical company dedicated to developing innovative medicines that treat intractable diseases by silencing the genes that cause them.
Leveraging a broad portfolio of RNA chemistries and efficient modes of delivery, Arrowhead therapies harness the natural RNA interference (RNAi) mechanism present in living cells. This triggers rapid, deep, and durable knockdown of target genes, inhibiting specific gene expression and affecting the production of disease-causing proteins.
Arrowhead focuses on diseases with a genetic basis, typically characterized by the overproduction of specific proteins. The depth and versatility of our RNAi technologies allow us to potentially address conditions in virtually any therapeutic area, targeting diseases not otherwise addressable by small molecules and biologics. We are at the forefront of bringing the promise of RNAi to address diseases outside of the liver, with a clinical pipeline targeting both liver and lung diseases, alongside a promising pipeline of preclinical candidates.
Our corporate headquarters is in Pasadena, CA, with research and development teams located in Madison, WI & San Diego, CA, and a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Verona, WI. Our employees are nimble, science-driven innovators, united in their collaboration to bring new therapies to patients in need.
