The TL;DR
• Role: Express Service Technician
• Location: various AutoNation locations nationwide
• Pay: $15.00 hourly
• Mission: To perform vehicle maintenance, ensuring customer vehicle safety and reliability while building customer loyalty.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Maintenance: Perform vehicle maintenance work as outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy, adhering to dealership and factory standards to drive customer loyalty.
• Communication: Communicate regularly with the Parts Department and Service Advisors to effectively manage production schedules and customer updates.
• Documentation: Accurately document all work performed on each vehicle on the repair order.
• Training: Stay informed on factory technical bulletins and actively participate in factory-sponsored training classes as appropriate.
• Customer Service: Provide an exceptional customer experience to foster strong customer loyalty.

The Must-Haves
• Background: High School diploma or equivalent. This is an entry-level position in vehicle maintenance.
• Experience: No specific prior experience is strictly required, though experience as an express/quick lube technician is preferred.
• Skills: Attention to detail and the ability to follow established processes to ensure quality and safety in all work.
• Licensure: Valid in-state driver’s license, with the ability to maintain an acceptable, safe driving record.
• Bonus: A passion for cars and customer service, along with a desire to learn and grow within the automotive field.
