Description:
The Experiential Design Intern will play a crucial role in supporting both the Experiential Design and Production teams at MATTE. Working closely with the Experiential Designers and Creative Director, the intern will contribute to the development of dynamic, innovative technical designs for immersive, in-person events.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare 2D and 3D design drawings and presentations for client and internal review.
• Construct models and assemble project boards to visualize designs effectively.
• Solve technical and design challenges by applying established standards and creative problem-solving.
• Assist in project preparation by organizing shoots, productions, and research.
• Generate renders for immersive and experiential events.
Requirements:
• Must be enrolled in a university or Master’s program and residing in the NYC area.
• Demonstrated proficiency in hand and CAD/BIM drafting skills.
• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Cloud software.
• Familiarity with Vectorworks is a plus.
• Major in design or a related field.
