Logistics Analyst | SMX
The Tone:
This is a full-time role at SMX, supporting US Space Forces Indo-Pacific (SFI). SMX is comprised of technical and domain experts dedicated to enabling national security missions for the DoD, providing secure and compliant digital transformation solutions. This role is crucial for ensuring the accurate and timely entry of data into SFI systems and managing travel logistics for personnel involved in theater-level exercises, directly contributing to mission readiness.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Data Entry: Ensure accurate and timely entry of all exercise-related data into US Space Forces Indo-Pacific (SFI) systems.
• Travel Administration: Serve as a Defense Travel System (DTS) administrator, managing the creation and processing of travel authorizations and vouchers for all exercise personnel.
• Logistical Coordination: Support the comprehensive Reception, Staging, Onward Movement, and Integration (RSO&I) of forces by coordinating their in-processing procedures, securing training facilities, arranging lodging, and managing transportation requirements to ensure mission readiness.
• International Liaison: Facilitate communication and coordination with a diverse range of allies and partner nations, including their respective commands, to support exercise objectives.
• Information Organization: Maintain meticulous organization across multiple focus areas, which includes tracking various processes, managing large datasets, and developing essential products for simultaneous use across multiple participating countries.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Requires US citizenship to enable the successful obtaining of a DoD Secret security clearance.
• Experience: Must demonstrate high proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 products. Requires a highly organized approach to tracking multiple processes, managing extensive data, and creating simultaneous products for various countries. Essential for coordinating and communicating effectively with international allies and partner nations.
• Skills: Excellent technical writing skills for creating clear documentation. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction. A customer-focused approach in all interactions. Proven capacity to rapidly learn new systems and adapt quickly to changing environments.
• Bonus: Prior experience specifically with US Space Forces Indo-Pacific (SFI) operations. Previous intra-agency or joint command experience. Involvement in international engagement or exercise planning. Familiarity with specialized tools such as the Joint Training Tool (JTT) and the Joint Manning Document (JMD) Tool.
