Executive Director – Senior Living | HealthCare Support
The Tone:
This is a full-time role at HealthCare Support, located in Reno, NV. HealthCare Support is seeking an experienced leader for a highly respected senior living community. This role is vital for overseeing all daily operations, ensuring exceptional resident care, and driving the community’s financial and performance goals. The Executive Director will foster a positive environment for both residents and staff, while upholding regulatory compliance and community standards.
The TL;DR
• Role: Full Time
• Type: Full-time (Monday-Friday 8am-5pm, with flexibility required)
• Location: In-person, Reno, NV
• Pay: $125000–$140000 yearly
• Mission: This person owns the daily operations, resident care excellence, and financial performance for a senior living community.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Operations Oversight: Oversee all community operations, including resident satisfaction, staffing levels, regulatory compliance, and overall financial performance.
• Occupancy Growth: Drive occupancy growth through active support of sales efforts, implementation of resident retention initiatives, and community outreach activities.
• Financial Management: Manage budgets effectively, improve operational performance, and achieve net operating income (NOI) goals for the community.
• Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and support department leaders and team members, fostering a positive, hospitality-focused culture throughout the community.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the community is prepared for surveys, maintains compliance with all state and company regulations, and promptly addresses community issues.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree required; Executive-level operational leadership within senior living.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of operational leadership experience specifically within Memory Care, Assisted Living Facilities (ALF), Skilled Nursing, or Hospice settings.
• Skills: Nevada Administrator License or the proven ability to obtain licensure, valid driver’s license, strong leadership capabilities, effective communication, and robust relationship-building skills.
