Job Description: Event Technology Internship
This part-time, onsite internship offers hands-on experience in the event technology industry. You’ll be responsible for ensuring the flawless execution of events by:
• Setting up and operating basic audio-visual equipment: This includes tasks like setting up microphones, projectors, and sound systems.
• Troubleshooting equipment and software issues: You’ll gain valuable problem-solving skills and learn to resolve technical challenges quickly.
• Providing excellent customer service: You’ll interact with clients and guests, ensuring their needs are met and the event runs smoothly.
• Working with other staff and outside vendors: You’ll gain experience in team collaboration and vendor management.
• Completing paperwork and system entries: This involves tasks like filling out equipment sheets and entering order details in the company’s system.
Qualifications
• Currently pursuing a BA/BS Degree: Preferred majors include Hospitality, Business, Media Production, Radio/TV/Film, or related fields.
• 0-6 months of experience: Experience in audio-visual or customer service roles is beneficial.
• Technical aptitude: A strong interest and familiarity with technology is essential.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs: This is a physical role that may involve lifting and moving equipment.
