Description
This job is for an Event Technology Intern position. The intern will be responsible for assisting with the setup and operation of audio-visual equipment for live events, both large and small scale. They will ensure client satisfaction by providing excellent customer service and exceeding their expectations.
The intern will have the opportunity to gain experience in both field and corporate settings, providing technical and sales support. They will learn to troubleshoot and problem solve with equipment and software issues, and will be trained on company processes and procedures.
The position requires a current pursuit of a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Hospitality, Business, Media Production, Radio/TV/Film, or a related field. The ideal candidate will have some prior experience in audio-visual or customer service, and a strong technical aptitude demonstrated through interest and exposure to new technology.
The work environment is dynamic and can include hotel/convention centers, warehouses, and offices. The intern will be exposed to various conditions, including outdoor temperatures, dust, and noise, and will be required to use high-end audio-visual equipment. Working hours will be irregular and may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
