Job Description

Job Title: Event Intern (Volunteer)

Overview:
This is a unique volunteer opportunity to gain hands-on experience by supporting CLD PR and Allies of Skin at an exclusive, high-profile event in New York City. The event aims to bring Allies of Skin’s brand philosophy to life through an immersive experience for press and VIP guests, featuring influential names in the beauty industry.

Key Responsibilities (Tasks may vary and will be assigned on the day):
• Event Production Support: Assist with final venue set-up, last-minute touches, and general production to ensure the event runs smoothly.
• Guest Relations: Manage guest check-in, usher guests to various areas, and provide guidance throughout the event.
• Activations Support: Assist with content creation, ensure displays remain photo-ready with quick touch-ups, and help guide guests through different activation areas.

Event Details:
• Locations: West Village, New York, NY and Manhattan, New York, NY.
• Dates & Shifts:
• Wednesday, September 10th (Event Day):
• Location: West Village, New York, NY
• Shift Time: 2:45 PM – 8:00 PM
• Friday, September 12th (Event Day):
• Location: Manhattan, New York, NY
• Shift Time: 9:30 AM – 2:00 PM
• Commitment: While not mandatory, working both shifts is strongly encouraged and will significantly increase the likelihood of being selected for the role.

Compensation:
• This is an unpaid, volunteer position.
