The Tone:

• Mission: Coordinate, align, and innovate through the exploration, development, and implementation of new and existing products, providing technical expertise to drive product growth and create new capabilities.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Innovate: Coordinate, align, and drive innovation through the exploration, development, and implementation of new and existing products.
• Provide Expertise: Offer technical expertise for new product development, product line growth, and the creation of new technology or processes to build capabilities.
• Identify Solutions: Pinpoint and implement technical solutions that meet business objectives.
• Collaborate: Partner with cross-functional teams including marketing, insights, sales, operations, food safety quality, and regulatory to achieve goals.
• Analyze and Develop: Provide insights from findings and analysis, research, and market data to develop short-term and long-term testing programs for experimental and commercial products and hybrids.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Engineering in food, chemical, or biochemical fields. An experienced professional providing technical leadership.
• Experience: Minimum three years of work experience related to poultry and/or processed meats (sausages) product development. Prior experience in a food manufacturing environment, a matrix organization, operations, leading teams, and product management is required.
• Skills: Technical guidance for products, process development/improvement, quality systems, and regulatory oversight; market data analysis and interpretation; identifying product growth opportunities; independent problem-solving for moderately complex issues; cross-functional partnership.
• Bonus: Master’s or other postgraduate degree, expertise in business-critical evolving technology, strategic thinking with the ability to build effective plans, intermediate English.
