Job Title: ERS Marketing Intern

Brief Job Description:
As an ERS Marketing Intern, you will be an integral part of the ERS and HVM Marketing Team located in Westerville, OH. This role offers a comprehensive experience in various facets of marketing, including market analysis, marketing communications, digital marketing, and service marketing projects. You will gain valuable cross-functional experience, collaborating with diverse internal teams suchibilities to regional sales, business development, major accounts, Vertiv Marketing, the web team, and senior leadership.
Responsibilities Include:
- Customer and Market Information Analysis: Work to enhance the quality of customer contacts within lead management tools; Analyze databases to generate targeted customer lists for marketing campaigns; Conduct research on market segments to inform planning and execution strategies.
- Sales Wins (Success Stories) Development & Communications: Collaborate with sellers to capture sales successes and effectively communicate them across the organization; Develop customer case studies based on captured content.
- PR and Article Development: Partner with external agencies and internal Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to develop and secure article placements.
- Google Ad and Email Campaign Execution: Support the team in the development, execution, and analysis of Google Advertising and email marketing campaigns.
- Website and SEO Improvements: Work closely with corporate SEO and marketing teams to implement actions and content that enhance the Search Engine Optimization (SEO) performance of the ERS/HVM/eti websites.
- Social Media Management: Contribute to building and supporting the social media communities for ERS/HVM/eti; Create engaging new social media content.
- Virtual Event Execution: Plan and manage the corporate presence at online virtual events, including webinars.
- Marketing Support for Service Portfolio: Assist with product marketing initiatives and campaigns designed to drive opportunities for Vertiv’s comprehensive service portfolio (core and CoE business).
Qualifications:
- Required Education: Undergraduate or Graduate student with an emphasis on marketing, marketing communications, or a related field.
Additional / Preferred Qualifications:
- Software Proficiency: Proficient user of Microsoft Office, with a strong working knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Social Media Understanding: Understanding of social media channels and best practices, especially LinkedIn.
- Tool Experience (Plus): Experience with Canva, Hubspot, and PowerBI is a plus.
- Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with both local and remote team resources.
- Data Analysis: Strong data analysis skills to conduct market segmentation and identify potential sales targets.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Initiative & Independence: Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Adaptability: Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Work Ethic: Detail-oriented and hardworking.
- Language: Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.

Amount of Travel Needed: 10%
