This is a post-grad internship at ROTH Capital Partners, located in Newport Beach, CA. Roth is a relationship-driven investment bank focused on serving growth companies and their investors. Its full-service platform provides capital markets, M&A advisory, high-impact equity research, macroeconomic perspectives, and various other capital market solutions. As a privately held, employee-owned organization, Roth maintains offices throughout the U.S. This role is crucial as the Equity Research Intern provides direct support to Associates and Analysts, contributing to the team’s research, data collection, and client support functions to deliver valuable insights.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Data Management: Search, collect, consolidate, and interpret company and industry data.
• Financial Modeling: Develop, maintain, and input data into financial models, market monitoring systems, and databases to create charts, dashboards, and supporting material.
• Report Preparation: Prepare portions or more of research reports, notes, and briefs.
• Information Handling: Communicate and handle information requests.
• Administrative Support: Provide administrative support as required.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Post-grad internship position with excellent analytical skills and an understanding of relevant financial and accounting techniques.
• Experience: Strong proficiency in MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet, and software applications.
• Skills: Ability to express ideas effectively and fluently, ability to write clearly, concisely with speed and precision.
