What You’ll Actually Do
• Research: Conduct extensive company and industry research in partnership with the senior analyst.
• Analysis: Create detailed financial models and perform comprehensive valuation analyses.
• Reporting: Write company reports, industry reports, and develop investment recommendations.
• Engagement: Form relationships with company management teams through meetings, calls, and roadshows, and attend industry conferences.
• Marketing: Market the team’s research and investment recommendations to the sales force and institutional investors as industry expertise develops.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics is required. A background in the Financial Services industry, specifically Banking, Fintech, or Payments, is preferred.
• Experience: At least one year of prior Equity Research or Investment Banking experience is preferred. Strong financial modeling experience is required, demonstrating a solid foundation in valuation analysis.
• Skills: Candidates must possess outstanding interpersonal and written communication skills for engaging with management teams and institutional investors. Strong quantitative and organizational skills are essential for conducting thorough research and analysis. The role demands the ability to think quickly and work independently while balancing a strong competitive spirit with proven teamwork capabilities. Securities Industry Essentials, Series 86 and 87 are required, or a willingness to obtain them promptly.
• Bonus: Progress towards a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation is considered a significant advantage.
