About the Role:
The Equine Marketing Intern’s primary objective will be to learn all aspects of Sandhills products and services, and to focus on new market development within the equine industry. This position requires prior experience or knowledge in the equine industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contacting sellers within the equine and livestock industries.
- Educating them on our products and services, including how to utilize our websites.
- Entering their listings for them on LivestockMarket.com.
- Handling in-bound and outbound customer calls and email communications.
- Gathering information on shows and meetings relevant to the industry.
- Researching the equine and livestock industries to ensure proper listing information.
- Providing feedback from the industry to enhance our services.
- Building solid relationships with members of the industries we serve.
- Maintaining a heavy focus on customer service and sales.
- Assisting with a variety of tasks that aid in the implementation of marketing strategies.
- Working as a team to assure the success of the websites and publications.
- Assume other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Prior experience or knowledge in the equine industry is required.
- Ability to commute when scheduled to the local office.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Able to work independently and communicate effectively within a team environment.

This internship is paid at $18/hour!
