Job Description: EQ Co-Op and Summer Intern Program
This program offers a unique opportunity for highly motivated and meticulous undergraduate students to gain hands-on experience in the field of Enterprise Quality. The program is designed for Sophomores, Juniors, and rising Seniors pursuing degrees in science, communications, regulatory compliance, quality, finance, data science, computer science, mathematics, statistics, economics, engineering, or technology-related fields.
The program focuses on developing analytical skills through real-world projects and experiences. Interns will work directly with experienced professionals within the Enterprise Quality organization and contribute to data-driven strategies across various functions.
Key responsibilities include:
• Digital Product Analysis: Understanding and analyzing end-to-end business processes and translating needs into digital solutions by building out product backlogs.
• Data Collection & Management: Assisting in gathering, cleaning, and preparing datasets for analysis from various sources.
• Data Analysis: Performing statistical analysis and data mining to identify patterns, correlations, and insights.
• Reporting: Developing visualizations and dashboards using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Excel to communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Support Decision-Making: Analyzing data to support business decisions and initiatives.
• Collaboration: Working closely with various departments to understand their data needs and provide actionable insights.
Beyond developing analytical skills, interns will also:
• Gain industry knowledge through conversations with senior leaders and shadowing experienced personnel.
• Work in a fast-paced, technologically sophisticated environment.
• Improve their personal brand through skills-building workshops and networking mixers.
• Present their learnings and development experience to leadership.
• Participate in community activities to connect and support local towns.
Qualifications:
• Required:
• Permanent US work authorization without sponsorship needs (now or in the future)
• Enrollment in an accredited college/university during the program
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field
• Basic proficiency in data analysis tools (Python, R, or SQL)
• Ability to clearly present data findings and interpretations
• Ability to break down problems and derive actionable insights
• Understanding of statistical concepts
• Ability to work through challenges logically and efficiently
• Ability to provide own transportation to/from work
• Ability to work full-time (40 hours a week) for the whole term (May 19 – August 15, 2025)
• Commitment to a May 2025 internship start date
• Preferred:
• Proven leadership and/or participation in campus/community service activities
Compensation:
• The anticipated base pay for this position varies based on academic year and degree:
• Technical Degrees: Sophomore $25.00/hr, Junior $26.00/hr, Senior $28.00/hr, Master’s degree $33/hr
• Business Degrees: Sophomore $22.00/hr, Junior $23.00/hr, Senior $24.00/hr, Master’s degree $30.00/hr
