Job Description: Crothall Healthcare Environmental Services Intern

General Description:

This internship offers a challenging and rewarding opportunity for continued career growth. You will be working closely with leaders in the Environmental Services group, developing the skills and competencies needed to succeed in the healthcare support services field.

Responsibilities:

• Execute operational standards
• Participate in department safety and maintain a safe work environment
• Respond to concerns and requests with urgency and take corrective action
• Ensure security integrity at the facility
• Proactively identify and correct quality assurance issues
• Bring creativity and innovation to the program
• Ensure staff receives proper orientation, initial, and ongoing training
• Provide and monitor individual guidance and motivation to associates
• Handle special requests or projects as assigned

Learning Objectives:

• Develop awareness, understanding, and skills to work in a diverse environment
• Gain experience in the world of Environmental Services through observation and practice

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled college/university junior or senior
• Effective written and oral communication skills for all levels of staff
• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment
• Excellent customer service skills
• Experience using Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Interest in pursuing a career with Crothall Healthcare and potentially joining their Accelerated Manager Program after graduation (preferred)
