Job Description: Environmental Intern

Peckham’s paid internship program offers practical experience and integrates interns into their company culture. The Environmental Intern will assist the EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) Team on essential projects, gaining valuable career experience. Key responsibilities include:

• Sustainability projects
• Greenhouse gas calculations
• EPD (Environmental Product Declaration) calculations
• Plant equipment inventory

Suitable majors include Environmental Science, Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, various Engineering disciplines, and other relevant fields.

Requirements:

• Excellent attendance and punctuality.
• Ten-week program (June 2, 2025 – August 8, 2025), with potential for flexible scheduling. Automated timecard tracking required.
• Self-arranged housing and reliable transportation.
• Strict adherence to safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
• Current enrollment at an accredited college/university with a 3.0 GPA or higher.
• Completed application (by May 5, 2025) including:
• Cover letter/paragraph explaining major and interests.
• Resume (including LinkedIn profile, if applicable).
• Written recommendation from an employer, teacher, or professor.
• Proficient written and verbal English communication skills.
• Legal right to work in the U.S.
