What You’ll Actually Do
• Technical Analysis: Conduct air dispersion modeling according to specific project requirements and established regulatory guidelines, ensuring accurate representation of environmental impacts.
• Emissions Management: Calculate air emissions, evaluate and determine suitable air pollution control technologies, and meticulously document process details to achieve and maintain regulatory compliance for industrial clients.
• Regulatory Compliance: Prepare comprehensive environmental permit applications, amendments, standard exemptions, source inventories, and emission fee calculations for direct submission to relevant state agencies.
• Research & Review: Research and stay current on the latest advancements in air pollution control technologies and industry best practices, while also reviewing existing and proposed environmental regulations to summarize their potential effects on industrial operations.
• Project Support & Communication: Provide essential support to project teams by compiling critical data, drafting reports, and effectively communicating technical results both internally within the company and externally to clients and stakeholders.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Student pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Experience: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Skills: Possess strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities to tackle complex environmental data and challenges. Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective internal and external interactions. Exhibit a keen interest in environmental regulations, air quality management, and broader sustainability principles.
• Bonus: Experience with modeling software.
