What You’ll Actually Do
• Assisting: Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
• Preparing: Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Maintaining: Maintain general ledger accounts.
• Supporting: Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
• Performing: Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Possess a strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
• Experience: 0 to 3 years of accounting experience, which may include internships or relevant coursework.
• Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Excel; strong analytical and problem-solving skills; excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to adapt quickly to new environments and technologies.
• Bonus: Internship experience in public accounting, corporate accounting, or finance; experience with ERP/accounting software; CPA track or intention to pursue professional certification.
