The Opportunity

Compensation & Schedule

  • Hourly Compensation: $16.00 USD
  • Schedule: This is an on-call position, primarily intended to cover for staff absences in the Miami area. Work hours typically range from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM (may vary based on assigned site). Flexibility in your daily work schedule is required, as there may be opportunities for overtime hours. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with open availability seeking to earn additional income.

Responsibilities

The Entry Level Part Time Mailroom Associate will provide a wide array of essential office services for the Miami office, including:

  • Preparing and organizing all materials necessary for copying, scanning, and faxing tasks.
  • Entering paperwork into electronic systems through data entry or by utilizing multifunction devices like copiers/scanners.
  • Processing, sorting, and distributing incoming mail to employees within a corporate environment.
  • Delivering mail and packages between departments or individuals within the office.
  • Handling all outgoing packages, ensuring accurate labeling, and arranging pickups with carriers such as the post office, UPS, FedEx, or others.
  • Demonstrating strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills in all interactions.
  • Comfortably moving and carrying file boxes weighing between 20-50 lbs.
  • Adhering strictly to company policies and confidentiality guidelines to safeguard data and information.
  • Ability to provide reception coverage for short periods, such as lunch breaks or brief absences.

Qualifications

Ideal candidates will possess 2-3 years of related experience in providing top-tier customer service or office support services. Other key qualifications include:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Authorization to work for any employer in the U.S. required.
  • Experience working in hospitality, retail, or restaurants is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; strong keyboarding and Windows environment PC skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, along with a professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Ability to meet the employer’s attendance policy.
  • Access to reliable transportation to and from work.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Willingness to submit to a pre-employment drug screen.
