Job Description: Entry-Level Line Cook
This role is for an Entry-Level Line Cook at Hyatt Regency Boston Cambridge, an opportunity for individuals passionate about culinary arts to begin their career. The position is designed to offer growth and learning opportunities, working alongside experienced chefs to contribute to creating unforgettable dining experiences for guests.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in food preparation, which includes chopping, cutting, and marinating ingredients.
• Follow recipes and cooking techniques to ensure the production of high-quality dishes.
• Cook and plate menu items in adherence to established standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area within the kitchen.
• Assist in stocking and managing inventory levels of ingredients and supplies.
• Collaborate with the culinary team to develop and refine recipes.
• Adhere strictly to food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe cooking environment.
• Provide support in various kitchen duties as assigned by senior staff.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Culinary arts education or relevant training is considered a significant plus.
• Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment is necessary.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail and a genuine passion for cooking.
• Willingness to learn and readily take direction from senior chefs.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with the culinary team.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Salary Range:
The salary for this position is USD $22.00 per hour.
