Position Summary

We are actively seeking a highly creative and motivated Entry-Level Interior Designer to become a valuable member of our dynamic team in our Cupertino office. As an integral part of our collaborative team, you will play a crucial role in assisting with the development of innovative design concepts, preparing impactful presentations, and providing essential support throughout the project execution lifecycle, all while learning directly from our seasoned and experienced designers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist senior designers in the conceptualization and development of fresh design concepts, strategic layouts, and compelling client presentations.
  • Prepare detailed mood boards, illustrative sketches, and high-quality 3D renderings to effectively communicate intricate design ideas and visions.
  • Support the meticulous selection of furniture, exquisite finishes, innovative materials, and harmonious color palettes that align with project aesthetics and client preferences.
  • Conduct thorough site visits, accurately take precise measurements, and comprehensively document existing conditions to inform design decisions.
  • Collaborate effectively with a diverse range of vendors, skilled contractors, and valued clients to ensure all project requirements are met and expectations are exceeded.
  • Maintain comprehensive project files, monitor critical schedules, and ensure all necessary documentation is meticulously organized and up-to-date.
  • Stay continuously updated on emerging industry trends, best practices in sustainable design, and innovative new materials and technologies shaping the future of interior design.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a closely related creative field.
  • Proficiency in design software, including but not limited to AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or the Adobe Creative Suite (e.g., Photoshop, InDesign).
  • A strong eye for detail, an innate understanding of color theory, and an excellent grasp of spatial arrangements and ergonomics.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, coupled with strong organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and effectively within a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • An undeniable eagerness to learn and grow continuously within the professional interior design industry.
  • Previous internship or project experience in interior design is considered a significant plus, but is not strictly required for this entry-level position.
