Job Title: Entry Level Engineering Aide
Location: Facility requiring special access (US Citizen required)
Description:
This position is within Lockheed Martin Space’s SDA Transport Layer programs, which provide constellations of low earth orbit satellites and ground systems for national security space customers.
Responsibilities:
• Support planning and execution of technical integration efforts, including information exchange with customers.
• Work as an individual contributor within a team environment.
• Collaborate with other engineers, interact with planning and reporting tools, document processes, and help drive tasks to closure.
• Provide technical support to engineers on various tasks to facilitate horizontal integration.
• Use personal computers for analyses and development of documentation/reports.
• Assist with conducting tests and recording data for engineering evaluation or analysis.
Basic Qualifications:
• Associate degree in a STEM field, related work experience, and/or technical training.
• Completed coursework towards a related degree may be considered.
• Must be a US Citizen; this position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Desired Skills:
• Strong communication skills.
• Demonstrates strong initiative and is a self-starter.
• Understanding of space systems and integration.
• Experience with software tools for tracking actions and schedules.
Security Clearance:
This position requires a government security clearance. You must be a US Citizen to be considered.
Clearance Level: Secret
Work Schedule:
Part-time remote telework with a portion of work performed at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Specific schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Salary:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Maryland, Washington or Washington DC is $38,900 – $74,600. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location.
