What You’ll Actually Do
• Analyze datasets: Identify trends, anomalies, performance drivers, and improvement opportunities within structured business and operational data.
• Develop reports: Create, maintain, and enhance recurring reports, dashboards, and KPI scorecards for business and operational stakeholders.
• Optimize queries: Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, aggregation, validation, and reporting purposes.
• Ensure data quality: Perform data profiling, data quality checks, and reconciliation activities to maintain reporting accuracy and consistency.
• Support stakeholders: Translate business requirements into analytical outputs and reporting solutions, and support ad hoc analytical requests.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, Economics, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related quantitative discipline.
• Experience: 0-2 years of experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Reporting, or related analytical functions, including internships, research projects, and academic experience.
• Skills: Strong working knowledge of SQL, advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, a solid understanding of data analysis methodologies, the ability to interpret complex datasets and communicate findings effectively, and strong attention to detail.
• Bonus: Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or Looker; exposure to Python, Pandas, or NumPy; familiarity with relational databases, data warehousing concepts, or cloud analytics environments (AWS, Azure, GCP); or knowledge of operational or supply chain analytics.
