What You’ll Actually Do
• Prepare Data: Collect, clean, and organize diverse datasets to ensure accuracy and readiness for in-depth analysis.
• Analyze Trends: Methodically identify significant trends, patterns, and underlying correlations using statistical and various analytical tools.
• Develop Visualizations: Design and create impactful dashboards, comprehensive visualizations, and detailed reports utilizing platforms like Tableau, Power BI, or Excel.
• Present Findings: Articulate and present clear, concise, and actionable data insights to both technical and non-technical cross-functional teams, aiding strategic decision-making.
• Collaborate on Requirements: Engage closely with stakeholders to thoroughly understand their specific data requirements and deliver tailored analytical solutions that meet business needs.
• Ensure Data Quality: Perform rigorous validation and quality checks to ensure the accuracy and consistency of all data used for analysis.
• Stay Informed: Continuously monitor industry trends, best practices, and new data tools or technologies to enhance analytical capabilities.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Master’s degree required; candidates include recent graduates without prior technical experience from any educational or professional background.
• Experience: Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel; willingness to learn and adapt to data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI. U.S. work authorization is a requirement, with H1B sponsorship or related visa support available for eligible candidates, and applications from F1/OPT individuals are welcomed.
• Skills: Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities; excellent communication skills to effectively convey findings to diverse stakeholders; meticulous attention to detail and capability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
• Bonus: Internship or project experience specifically in data analysis or visualization; foundational familiarity with SQL for querying and managing databases; knowledge of core statistical concepts and proficiency with programming tools such as Python or R is considered a plus.
