Job Description:

This is an entry-level position designed to introduce you to the world of Contract Management for Defense Contracts. You’ll gain valuable experience in the fundamentals of contract administration, learning the intricacies of navigating the regulatory requirements of FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulation) and DFAR (Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement).

Your responsibilities will include:

Negotiating, administering, extending, terminating, and renegotiating standard and nonstandard contracts with the U.S. Government.
Evaluating contract performance to identify the need for amendments or extensions and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.
Maintaining effective communication with stakeholders to ensure timely contract execution.
Ensuring final contract documents accurately reflect the agreements reached during negotiations.
Potentially participating in training initiatives on contract practices.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline OR equivalent experience/combined education.

CWEP or LM Internship in F&BO (preferred, but not required).

Security Clearance:

This position requires a government security clearance, so U.S. citizenship is mandatory.
Clearance Level: Secret

Remote Work Options:

The position offers a part-time remote telework arrangement. The specific schedule will be determined during the hiring process.

Work Schedule:

4×10 hour day, 3 days off per week
