Entry Level Community Outreach | Public Outreach

This is a full-time role at Public Outreach, located in Boston, MA. What You’ll Actually Do
• Outreach: Conduct face-to-face outreach with members of the public in community spaces and neighborhoods across the Boston area.
• Engagement: Engage with individuals about important humanitarian, environmental, and social justice campaigns.
• Fundraising: Recruit new monthly supporters for nonprofit organizations by clearly communicating campaign goals and impact.
• Teamwork: Collaborate effectively within energetic team environments throughout the workday.
• Advocacy: Represent major nonprofit organizations and their missions directly to the public.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Early Career. Candidates should have an interest in nonprofits, advocacy, communications, marketing, public engagement, or community outreach.
• Experience: None required. This is an entry-level role with paid training provided from day one.
• Skills:
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfort and confidence in speaking with new people.
• Positive attitude and consistent reliability.
• Understanding of or interest in nonprofit or advocacy work.
• Ability to work outdoors and remain on your feet for extended periods.
• Bonus: Prior experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, marketing, sales, fundraising, advocacy, volunteering, or other public-facing roles is considered helpful.
