What You’ll Actually Do
• Engineering Tasks: Apply standard techniques, procedures, and criteria to various engineering assignments.
• Project Support: Perform sub-professional engineering tasks including field work, inspections, engineering reports, permits, construction engineering, and simple design calculations.
• Coordination: Coordinate directly with contractors to ensure project alignment and progress.
• Document Review: Review construction drawings and specifications for accuracy and compliance.
• Permitting: Contact government officials to secure necessary permits for projects.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering; foundational knowledge of basic engineering principles.
• Experience: This is an entry-level position suitable for pending or recent graduates.
• Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to apply technical skills to meet project demands and solve client problems; positive attitude, impressive work ethic, clear sense of urgency, self-initiative to meet deadlines, and attention to detail; valid driver’s license.
• Bonus: Graduate degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering; Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam certification.
