What You’ll Actually Do
• Business Requirements Gathering: Collaborate actively with various stakeholders to meticulously gather, analyze, and document comprehensive business requirements for new and existing systems.
• Functional Specification Development: Assist in translating complex business needs into clear, actionable functional specifications and detailed user stories that guide technical development.
• Process and Data Analysis: Support in-depth gap analysis, develop insightful process models, and conduct thorough data analysis to identify areas for improvement and inform strategic decisions.
• Technical Implementation Collaboration: Work closely and effectively with technical teams throughout the development lifecycle to ensure that solutions are accurately implemented according to specifications.
• Essential Documentation & Communication: Create and diligently maintain critical documentation, including workflows and process diagrams, while actively bridging communication gaps between business and IT stakeholders.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Healthcare Management, or a related field, with a basic to strong understanding of healthcare insurance concepts.
• Experience: 0–2 years of experience as a Business Analyst or relevant internship/project experience in healthcare or IT. Exposure or conceptual understanding of the Facets platform, including areas like member demographic data, eligibility, product configuration, claims processing, benefits, and prior authorization workflows, is highly encouraged.
• Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to translate technical concepts for business users, and basic experience in documentation such as user stories, workflows, and functional specifications.
• Bonus: Internship or project experience in Agile/Scrum environments, familiarity with tools like JIRA, Confluence, or Visio, and an interest in Business Analysis certifications (CBAP, CCBA).
