Role: Entry-Level Technician

As an Entry-Level Technician, you will be responsible for performing light maintenance, fluid checks, and/or conducting initial vehicle inspections to identify any imperfections or repairs needed during the reconditioning process.

Carvana offers a variety of Technician roles across 18 locations nationwide, catering to different experience levels:

• Entry-Level Auto Technician (min 6 months professional experience): Perform light maintenance, fluid checks, and initial vehicle inspections.
• Brake and Tire Technician (min 1 year professional experience): Perform light maintenance or repairs, including changing brakes and tires.
• Mid-Level (Mechanical Repair / Build / General) Technician (min 3 years of professional experience): Perform light to medium automotive repairs and minimal diagnostics.
• Experienced Technician (min 5 years of professional experience): Perform extensive repairs and heavy engine work, as well as advanced vehicle diagnostics on all makes and models, including electric and hybrid vehicles.

General Qualifications And Requirements:

• Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools.
• Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds independently.
• Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license. (Some positions may require an Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing production environment, potentially exposed to excessive weather conditions (heat/cold).
• Willingness to use safety equipment including, but not limited to, face shields or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, masks, and other protective garments.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
