Entertainment Systems Business Systems Analyst Intern

This internship offers the opportunity to contribute to the efficiency and security of Disney Live Entertainment’s systems. As an intern, you will work under the guidance of the Entertainment Systems Application Manager and collaborate with various departments to analyze business needs and develop solutions using software programs and strategic thinking.

Responsibilities:

• Perform testing, review and analysis, test witnessing, and certification of software.
• Develop projects for tracking application enhancements and break/fix operations.
• Review and understand feedback from IT Security, ISPS, and Auditing.
• Follow written requirements, verbal instructions, and pre-established guidelines for project completion.
• Analyze current business processes and propose improvements based on industry trends and knowledge.
• Collaborate with various business partners to understand their specific needs.
• Utilize data analysis tools to identify areas for improvement.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to build strong working relationships with diverse teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to comprehend and act on technical concepts.
• Excellent report writing and documentation skills.
• Current enrollment in an accredited college/university pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, or related field.
Preferred:
• Strong computer skills in both Windows and Mac environments.
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365.
• Experience with project management tools like Jira.
• Passion for the entertainment industry.

Program Information:

• This is a full-time internship lasting from January 2025 to June 2025.
• Interns must be fully available for the duration of the internship in Orlando, FL.
• Housing and reliable transportation are the responsibility of the intern.
• A working, reliable internet connection and a dedicated workspace are required.

Eligibility:

• Must be enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter prior to the internship and returning to school the semester/quarter following the internship.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have unrestricted work authorization.
• Must not have completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or Disney College Program.
• Must be able to provide reliable transportation to/from work.
