Corporate Sales Executive | Motorola Solutions
The Tone:
This is an experienced role at Motorola Solutions, located in Tokyo, Japan. This role matters by being the face of the company in Japan, promoting and selling advanced physical security and access control solutions to protect communities and businesses.

• Mission: Spark demand, nurture relationships, and champion Video Security & Access Control solutions across Japan and the wider territory.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Promote Solutions: Enthusiastically promote and market our Video Security & Access Control (VS&A) products, with a focus on Avigilon Alta Cloud offerings, directly to End Users across Japan.
• Drive New Business: Research, contact, present to, and convert new sales opportunities with senior business leaders, supporting overall sales growth.
• Collaborate on Sales: Partner with Channel Account Managers, System Integrators, Distributors, Sales Engineers, and Marketing to convert leads into successful deals.
• Achieve Targets: Collaborate with leadership to establish and meet quarterly and annual sales targets.
• Provide Market Insights: Monitor competitor trends and local market dynamics in Japan, providing valuable insights to product teams to inform future product development.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Senior level professional with a proven sales track record in the corporate technology or security sector in Japan.
• Experience: 10+ years of sales experience within Japan, including 5+ years selling CCTV, IT infrastructure, Cloud solutions, software, or Security Technology Services. Proven ability to manage and close complex deals valued from $100k to $2M+.
• Skills: Complete fluency in spoken and written Japanese and English; in-depth understanding of Tokyo market dynamics and corporate culture; innate drive to hunt new business through various outreach methods; high tech literacy to discuss features and basic architecture; expert-level experience forecasting and managing pipelines using Salesforce CRM; exceptional understanding of Japanese business etiquette for C-suite pitches.
• Bonus: An established network within Japanese industries such as Manufacturing, Large Retailers, Renewable Energy, or Building Development; a valid Japanese Driver’s License; prior experience co-selling with distributors and system integrators in Japan.
