Enterprise Credit Summer Analyst (Intern) | Bank of America
The Tone:
This is an early career, summer internship at Bank of America, located in multiple cities across the US, including Atlanta, Boston, Charlotte, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, and Seattle. As a leading global financial institution, Bank of America provides a wide range of banking, investing, and financial management services. This role is vital for supporting credit teams by analyzing financial information, managing credit risks, and contributing to core credit initiatives across various program tracks.

• Mission: Support credit teams by analyzing financial information, identifying and mitigating credit risks, and contributing to underwriting, monitoring, business controls, and credit data initiatives.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Analyze: Assess creditworthiness and risk drivers by analyzing client, company, and transaction financial information.
• Evaluate: Complete cash-flow, trend, and scenario analysis to assess the ability to incur and repay obligations.
• Support: Assist with loan structuring discussions, documentation, and approval materials.
• Review: Evaluate collateral and ensure requirements are met in accordance with policy and procedures.
• Participate: Engage in client or internal partner meetings/calls to develop portfolio, product, and business knowledge.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Student pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or Bachelor’s direct-to-Master’s degree from an accredited college or university, with a major in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration/Management, or related fields. Candidates should be in their penultimate year of school.
• Experience: Master’s candidates should not have more than 0 years of professional experience.
• Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail; strong verbal and written communication skills and professionalism; proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Bonus: A minimum 3.5 GPA is preferred; demonstrated intellectual curiosity, operational excellence mindset, and strong work ethic; experience in teamwork and leadership.
