Detailed Job Description: Engineering Summer Internship Program (Summer 2025)
Johnson & Johnson offers an 8-week Engineering Summer Internship Program (June 2025 – August 2025, dates may be flexible) for rising first-year college students who participated in the FIRST Robotics program and are pursuing a STEM degree. This program is designed specifically for students with limited prior corporate experience, offering a structured, supportive learning environment.

• Onsite presence: Requires at least 3 days per week onsite at one of several US locations (Raritan, NJ; Raynham, MA; Cincinnati, OH; Santa Clara, CA; Jacksonville, FL). Transportation is the intern’s responsibility; some roles may offer a one-time housing stipend.
• Full-time commitment: 40 hours per week, overtime eligible.

Qualifications:
• Strong preference for FIRST Robotics Program participation in high school.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Full-time availability (40 hours/week) for the 8-week program.
• Enrollment in an accredited college/university Bachelor’s degree program pursuing an Engineering, Science, or related STEM field.
• High school graduation completed before the internship start date.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA.
• Commutable distance (≤50 miles) from one of the internship locations.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills (preferred).
• Ability to manage multiple projects and drive results.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, intellectual curiosity, and a dedicated work ethic.
• Self-starter capable of independent work and team contribution.
• Intention to pursue an engineering degree (preferred).
• Leadership/participation in campus programs or community service (desired).
Compensation:
• hourly pay rate: $19.00 – $51.50 (depending on program year, discipline, degree, and/or experience).
• Overtime eligible.
