Job Description: Engineering Summer Internship
This is an opportunity for bright, driven engineering individuals to join Lincoln Electric’s Engineering Summer Internship program at their Euclid, OH (22801) location. The program is specifically designed to bridge academic foundations with practical, real-world, hands-on experience in advanced manufacturing, innovation, and engineering leadership.

Overview of the Program:
The Engineering Internship at Lincoln Electric offers individuals the chance to directly apply their academic knowledge in practical, real-world settings. Interns will work on meaningful projects within various engineering domains, including but not limited to automation, manufacturing, and Research & Development (R&D), thereby gaining valuable hands-on experience. The program is comprehensive, featuring technical training, mentorship, and professional development opportunities, such as presentations and learning sessions led by company leaders. It is presented as an excellent avenue to build critical skills, expand professional networks, and explore a potential future career in engineering.
Potential Projects Interns May Work On:
• Machine or system design, including the creation of detailed design specifications.
• Development of manufacturing instructions, assembly drawings, and testing protocols.
• Testing of prototype equipment.
• Execution of quality control processes aimed at resolving production problems.
• Development of new consumables through applied research efforts.
• Assistance in the design and implementation of safety mechanisms and controls for industrial machinery.
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
• Currently pursuing or having already achieved a bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. on a full-time, permanent basis without sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications:
• An engineering degree in any of the following disciplines: Mechanical, Electrical, Computer, Chemical, Industrial, Material Science, Welding, or Packaging.
• A minimum overall GPA of 3.0.
• A demonstrated interest in working in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
