Position: Summer Internships (2026) – Power Team
We are seeking highly motivated engineering or related discipline students for our Summer Internships in 2026. These positions are for our Power Team and will be located in multiple locations across the United States. This is a paid internship lasting approximately 10 weeks, specifically from June 1, 2026, to August 7, 2026.

Internship Experience & Projects:
Interns will be assigned to specific projects, gaining real-world, hands-on experience while working independently under the guidance of an assigned supervisor and technical mentor. Historical intern projects have included:

  • Investigating corrosion sources in water system
  • Innovative options to repair water piping
  • Design change of liquid level instrument in pressure vessel
  • Safety valve maintenance and inspection analysis
  • Installation of wireless amp current meters
  • Aqueous copper removal pilot project

Potential Departments:
Interns may be placed in various critical departments, including:

  • Fleet Operations & Support
  • Engineering
  • Corporate Tech
  • Maintenance
  • Operations
  • Hydroelectric

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program for Fall of 2025 in Mechanical Engineering or related degrees.
  • Minimum GPA: 2.8 Cumulative AND 3.0 Major.
  • A track record of outstanding academic performance.
  • Eagerness to contribute in a team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
  • Excellent leadership, communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
